Save Energy, Save Money, and Enhance Your Work Environment
The NHsaves@work Small Business Energy Solutions Program provides you with both the financial incentives and technical assistance you need to make your workplace more energy efficient.
Through this program, Public Service of New Hampshire will pay up to a maximum of 50%* of labor and material costs for installation of these energy efficient measures. These measures typically pay for themselves within a few years.
As part of the Small Business Energy Solutions Program, PSNH will provide you with an energy analysis at no cost. This energy analysis will identify cost-effective opportunities for enhancing the energy efficiency of your business.

Small Business Energy Solutions is a turnkey service, from energy analysis to installation
As of January 1, 2010, LighTec, Inc., an energy services company based in Merrimack, NH, has been chosen to partner with PSNH to provide you with a written proposal outlining the recommended energy efficient improvements. This proposal will include a detailed explanation of each energy efficient improvement, a review of projected energy and cost savings, and the estimated return on your investment. LighTec, Inc. will also walk you through the retrofitting process and answer any technical questions you may have.
Once you have agreed on which measures to install, LighTec, Inc. will schedule and install the energy efficient measures at your convenience. PSNH will ensure quality control throughout this process.
Depending on the energy analysis findings, a wide array of new energy efficient technologies are available to replace your inefficient equipment, including:
- Energy efficient fluorescent ballasts, lamps and fixtures
- Hard-wired & screw-in compact fluorescent systems
- Occupancy sensors
- Programmable thermostats
- Cooler door heater controls
- Walk-in Cooler economizers
