  • Most importantly, I wanted to commend LighTec’s safety performance while working at Merrimack Station. LighTec had zero accidents and zero near-misses while on-site, November 2007-February 2008. This was accomplished through strict adherence to our safety rules at all times.

Raymond MacWhinnie - Sr. Engineer, PSNH, Merrimack Generation Station
  • Mr. Grady was very knowledgeable and willing to consider other options and share past experience.  The office staff is always willing to help with the littlest of questions (and I had plenty).  The Project Manager was very helpful and knowledgeable and willing to do most anything to help the project along.

Andy Daigneau - Facilities Manager, Town of Moultonborough
  • The LighTec employees were easy to work with and were here to do the installations when they said they would be.  We have brighter offices at a reduced cost.

Denise Vallee - Director of Finance & Administration, Town of Gorham

Energy Matters: Streetlights, Meters and Managing Power Use
On November 18th, at the LGC Annual Conference in Manchester, NH, a panel discussion was held by members of the CORE utilities, as well as the commercial and non-profit sectors.  In the photo from left to right, Jack Schelling, Energy Efficiency Program Administrator, PSNH; Christa Koehler, Manager, State and Local Government Program, Clean Air-Cool Planet; Jim Grady, President, LighTec, Inc. and Bill Johnstone, Senior Account Executive NH Electric Co-op.  Topics  discussed were all things related to conserving electricity from a municipal/school perspective.  Topics included streetlights, Light Emitting Diodes (LED) options and lessons learned regarding power conservation efforts.  The panel was very well received with over 45 attendees with many questions related to cost savings and implementing energy efficiency measures  that would qualify for incentives as well as Smart Start programs.
